JULIA MARTY
A refined, modern and timeless vision of beauty
After working in digital marketing, I felt drawn to a path that allowed me to express my creativity more deeply. In 2019, I became a bridal makeup artist and hairstylist, blending artistry with a deep passion for beauty and creating looks with intention and meaning.
My aesthetic is shaped by the world around me, the effortless allure of Parisian fashion, my years working in French luxury maisons, and the extraordinary women who inspire me: my mother, my sisters, and every bride who entrusts me with her vision. Their trust and joy continue to shape how I see and celebrate beauty: with emotion, precision and attention to detail.
Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working with over 300 brides across Europe. My work has been featured in Style Me Pretty, The Wed, Over The Moon, and Wed Vibes, each publication reflecting a meaningful step in my creative journey.
Behind my work
A calm and bespoke experience
Working with me is a calm and bespoke experience that begins long before the wedding day. I take time to understand each bride, her personality, her style, her dress, the location and the atmosphere of the wedding to create a look that feels natural, elegant and effortless. My role is not only to do the makeup, but also to bring calm, confidence and reassurance during the beauty preparation.
France, and beyond
I am a bridal makeup artist based in France, working throughout France, Europe and internationally. I regularly work with international brides who choose France for their destination wedding, but I also travel abroad for weddings and editorial projects. I am used to working in different environments, adapting to new locations, climates and timelines, and collaborating with international wedding planners and creative teams.
Skin as a foundation
My background in cosmetology and my experience working with Swiss skincare houses strongly influence my approach. For me, beautiful makeup always starts with beautiful skin. I guide my brides with tailored skincare advice and routines months before the wedding so the skin is luminous, balanced and perfectly prepared for the wedding day.
Experience and attention to detail
With more than fifteen years of experience in beauty, bridal, photography and film, my approach combines technical precision, organisation and a refined artistic eye. Every look is designed to reflect the woman herself. Never to transform her, but to reveal her in the most elegant, confident and natural way.
